KEPOS, meaning 'ancient garden' in Greek, is a restaurant located near the central Corso Umberto in Taormina, which instead of being one of the many, has chosen to be unique.

There's always an alternative way of seeing things, a new perspective, a digestible method of doing and wanting to do, and Kepos represents a valid alternative for cuisine and dining.

Seated in the garden, Kepos will give you the opportunity to experience time in a simple, concrete, and harmonious way. This is because, while aspiring to success, it has decided to embrace the perspective of sustainability, understood as a deep understanding and appreciation of the territory and its products. The restaurant is born from the passion to authentically and coherently express refined, sincere, and respectful cuisine of the raw material.

Our menu

Kepos offers a menu of fish and meat dishes, from which you can choose a dish to decide or be guided towards the history it has seen created. You can also choose to be accompanied on a gastronomic journey with the three tasting menus, which lead to a real understanding of the tradition of Sicilian cuisine where each dish is enhanced by the personalisation that makes it unique and unconventional.


Even for desserts, we love to experiment while always keeping Sicilian tradition central. For this reason, we offer a selection of desserts that will truly make you fall in love with this island. A journey through Sicilian cannoli, cassata soufflé with pistachio, revisited desserts of our own production that will make you enjoy the sweetness of Sicily.


The cuisine

EXCELLENCE AND QUALITY IN EVERY DETAIL

Only excellent Sicilian raw materials, derived from products ripened under the warm sun of Sicily, are used by our kitchen. Hard grains, extra virgin olive oil, capers, cherry tomatoes, pistachios, cinnamon, form the basis of our production. In this way, every day our chef Alessandro Santoro, in collaboration with his brigade, offers products characterised by quality and freshness.


Pasta, bread, and desserts of our own production made with care and creativity, because it's not a whim but a firm belief that self-production in the kitchen is the right path to take to respect genuineness.
